India has emerged as an important centre for many Pakistanis seeking specialised medical treatment. On offer are world class medical facilities in super-speciality hospitals in almost all major cities of India. The High Commission facilitates those going for special medical treatment in India by granting them medical visas. Medical Visa for Pakistani Nationals 

 • Visas are issued to Pakistani nationals for seeking medical treatment in reputed / recognised specialised hospitals / treatment centres in India.

 • Medical visas can be issued for a period of up to one year or for the period of actual treatment, whichever is less. A triple entry visa in such cases can also be considered on the merits of the case.

 • Details of medical advice from doctors in Pakistan treating the patient and medical advice of doctors or concerned hospital/treatment centre in India will have to be submitted with the visa application.

 • Up to a maximum of two attendants, who are blood relations of the patient, can be issued visas to travel with the patient for treatment in India.
