Assignment Visas are issued only to Diplomatic / official passport holders who are posted to the High Commission of Pakistan in New Delhi. All such officials, including their family members are requested to submit the following:

a) Their passports (with one set of a photocopy of the passport)

b) Note Verbale from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad

c) Printed and signed online visa applicationform along with two photographs

Assignment Visa for Diplomat/ Officials of any foreign accredited Mission/ UN & International Organisations

A Three Months single entry Assignment Visa shall be given unless there is a reciprocal arrangement in place for any specific type/ duration of visa.

All such request by Diplomats/ Officials of any foreign accredited Mission/ UN & International Organisation may submit the following along with two copies of filled and signed visa form, complete with Photograph:

• A Note Verbale that should mention, diplomatic designation of the officer, duration of posting, location in India, department, name of predecessor (in case of replacement posting) and tentative time of joining. In case it is a new post, a copy of the NOC received from the Protocol Division of Ministry of External Affairs of India for the new post in respect of the concerned person may also be enclosed.
• A copy of the Diplomatic/ Non-Diplomatic ID card issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.
• Any other form which may be required to be filled in country specific cases.
